AOL 2000 Mypoints!!

I don't know if this is on the mypoints site yet, but I received a bonus email today for 2000 points if I signed up for AOL 8.0!! All I have to do is cancel in 45 days and it's free!!

Anybody else do this?

Did you have to provide them with your CC #?? It's been my experience in the past that they are not always "prompt" about stopping the auto payment when you cancel.

I did have to give them a CC#, but I'm not too worried. I've had to use them for work and they're usually pretty good.
I'm fierce when it comes to things like that too, I'll contact the CC directly if they charge me.

I also got this email, but I did this about 6 months ago...Is this a once a year one? I want to do this again, but I don't want to go through the hassle if I won't get the points anyway...does anyone know?

I did it several months ago too Beanie, but hey, I'd go through the hassle for another 2000 points if you can do it more than once. Wasn't that one for 1000 points though?

Well, I did it! That's quite an offer! I'll keep an eye on in and cancel as soon as the points are credited.

Can you do this if you already have AOL? I'm still using AOL6. I wonder if it would work.

Does anyone know if you can do this offer if you're in Canada? The form doesn't have a space for provinces...
