As good a place to start a trip reservation as any?
lol. I finally gave in to the concept that having a package and everything prepaid was maybe worth not saving a ton of money. I am not sure how long I can hold out before I start trying to nickle and dime and second guess myself, but for now, I've got the package reserved.
We are a 5 adult family (the two youngest are 25) when we travel to WDW so the FD discount has only ever made sense if we all cram into one room together. And that is really not the most comfortable way to travel with grown kids.
We will be there the 16th - 23rd of December so the dates coincided with the FD package out now. It does kind of bite that the moderates only have the QS plan so I decided to grab the family suite and upgrade to the regular dining plan. Even with the mandatory park hopper tickets that I wouldn't normally purchase, it doesn't seem to be any more unreasonable a price than if I tried to put all the elements together on my own.
Now I need to not start tinkering with the reservation or wondering if I can do better by changing something.
For people looking for the FD discount, check back every day because the availability seems to be changing frequently. This room wasn't available the last couple of days, but was there when I checked back again.
