Day 2: up bright and early for breakfast. DD nearly died when she saw Donald Duck and Goofy on the way in.. she loved them.. but only from a distance. DH said to give her time to get used to them and by lunch time she was hugging all the characters!!! Breakfast in the Disneyland Hotel was lovely - plenty of choice - hot and cold foods, cereals, meats, fruit etc.. we were well impressed. Then we headed straight for the park and Fantasyland with DD in her cinderella costume. The weather was fab and there was hardly any queuing to do. This pleased DD (2) no end. Any time she had to wait more than 5 mins for a ride she threw a wobbler!!!!! We quickly learned that if there was a queue DH or me had to stand in it while the other distracted the little one til it was her turn. She loved "its a small world" and went on all the rides at least once except dumbo where the queue was just ridiculous, but she said that the teacups was her favourite ride.

We went to the character tea party at Plaza gardens at 3.30 and met Eeyore, goofy and pluto. DDs fav bit was when the birthday cakes came out -she was singing and clapping like mad. We were impressed again by the character interaction but why is it that some parents send their kids running after them when every child gets their turn???

After the tea party we caught the tail end of the princess parade and DD was delighted to see them. It was a pity that that was as close as she got to them - she is a real princess herself and talked non stop about princesses and princes for 6 weeks before the trip.

Saying that she fell in love with chip n dale and she'd never heard tell of them before last week - so i think the princesses were soon forgotten!

i'm ashamed to admit that DD was more brave than me. she and DH went up in the hot air balloon in the village on tuesday evening while i was nearly sick just watching. For food later on we called into McDonalds (which was packed as usual) then back to the hotel for an early night.

DD does sound every bit a princess. Shame she never got to meet one :goodvibes

Well done her going on Panoramagique :)

She is adorable princess: Great report :thumbsup2

Any time she had to wait more than 5 mins for a ride she threw a wobbler!!!!! .

Can't blame her for that, I hate queuing myself.;)

Such a shame that all these little girls didn't get to meet the princesses, Chip and Dale are great fun though, my niece was really taken with them.

Lovely photograph of your DD.:goodvibes
