AoA trundle bed/rollaway availability

Hello!

Is it possible to request a trundle bed or rollaway at Art of Animation? We have four people in the room but only two out of the four are a couple so having an extra bed would be preferable to making them share the double bed. If a rollaway is available, is it possible to request one upon check-in and do they cost more per night?

Last September, my same group stayed in a DVC unit at Saratoga Springs and this was not possible so they gave us floor pads to use as an extra bed. This wasn't the worst development but of course, a proper bed would have been better and I'm hoping this is possible at AoA.

No.

We have four people in the room but only two out of the four are a couple so having an extra bed would be preferable to making them share the double bed.

Your best bet is to bring or ship down an air mattress.

Our kids won't sleep in the same bed. We always bring an air mattress and battery powered pump.

Thanks for the info, having a mattress delivered is a fantastic idea since we are flying. Will float that idea along but may just force them to get cozy, it's only four nights.

• We fly SWA so we use that extra bag allowance for a small suitcase, inside fits an airbed, small electric pump, sheets and light blanket.

DVC resorts will not provide a rollaway or cot.

Are you in one of the suites? If so, one person could have the sleeper sofa and the other could use the murphy bed.

If not you may want to look into a moderate that can sleep 5 (POR for example) They have the 2 beds plus a hideaway bed.

Otherwise they are just going to have share. Maybe they can make a "no mans land" with pillows between them. LOL

We purchased THIS BED from amazon. It's $32 and free shipping if you are a prime member. It's quite comfortable and I like that it's higher like a normal bed and has it's own built-in pump. You'd just need twin sheets for it.
