AoA to MK via Epcot?

Hi all,

on our upcoming trip we are staying at AoA, I'm in a Facebook group for that resort and in passing saw someone mention that instead of taking the bus from AoA to MK you could take the Skyliner from AoA to Epcot then take the monorail to MK, anyone have experience with this and whether it's quicker than the bus? I'm tempted to try it but maybe on our 2nd MK day I'm not sure if I'd risk it on a rope drop day?

That will definitely not be quicker.

Skyliner drops you off at the International Gateway at the back of Epcot. You would need a park hopper ticket as you would have to enter Epcot, walk through World Showcase, through the maze that is currently the front of Epcot (against the flow of those entering the park), and then exit the park to make your way to the monorail station. It would take a considerable amount of time.

It’s super easy to take the MK bus from AofA.
Just hop on the bus and go.
