AoA Suites Availability

We have 2 nights booked late October in the Little Mermaid portion of AoA, but I wondered about the possibility of a suite coming open (we would have preferred this originally, but LM was all that was available).
Is there a possibility of finding one open if we call and ask every day? Has anyone been successful doing this? I hate to spend the time calling if this isn't a recommended method, but if there's a chance we could find an opening, we'll do it.

I would definitely keep checking back. Especially around the 45 day mark when people have to cancel packages they aren't going to use.
