AoA Suite vs 2 Pop rooms

We have done both and not only are two rooms at Pop cheaper, but we prefer it.

If you don't mind my asking, is it the room (decor, furniture...) or the resort (grounds, amenities....) itself that makes you prefer Pop? Or both?

Love Pop ever since the refurb. My family and I always get two rooms for race weekends to spread out and it works perfectly. We've never had an issue getting connecting rooms. Two bathrooms, plus the extra table from the pull down bed make it very spacious. Art of Animation is fine: the beds are okay, but it doesn't give much privacy to the person who sleeps on the pull down / pull out bed, whereas the two bedrooms have a lot more privacy. Bus service is fine at pop as well; not covered waiting like AOA, but the buses aren't crowded like the other Values. Only tiny downside is the wood floors are bit noisier at the Pop, where AOA has carpet. We would only stay at AOA if there was no other values are open.

Any experience that time of year?Likelyhood of large teen tour groups?

ETA I pulled up some posts stemming from a similar question when I was looking into ASMu suites....was left with the impression that February less impacted than July by the teen groups.
The only resort I ever felt really overwhelmed by teen groups was All Star Movies.

Both. I was a little underwhelmed by the suites at AoA, and the staff at Pop always goes above and beyond. Oh and 4 queen beds was more sleeping space than at AoA. I love the theming of the grounds at AoA but a quick walk over to check it out one night was enough for me.
