AOA, Saratoga , or Old Key west?

just a guess 10 or 15 minutes
I have never found it objectionable and have owned at SSR for 17 years
You have to add a caveat to this. If you are the first bus stop then you have the 15 or so minutes it will take to circle around SSR before that 10 or 15 minutes starts.

That said I would also pick SSR and we had great experiences with the buses last weekend.

I always love it when people cherry pick my quotes ….

I have also never timed the ride around SSR or stayed at the first bus stop….

But if you are at the first bust stop doesn’t that mean when you come back you don’t take the ride ?

I didn't cherry pick anything. I literally quoted your entire message. I was adding context for the OP as I felt it could be important information for them if they were trying to keep time on a bus to a minimum.

Yes, if you get on / off at Carousel you would have the longer ride to the park and shorter park from the park, just like if you get on at The Springs. You'd have a shorter ride to the park and a longer ride from the park.

Don't worry though, I will not quote your responses anymore.

If you'd be using resort buses to get to parks, I'd go with AOA. The internal bus routes in OKW and SSR drive me nuts.
This is worth mentioning. The buses at both these resorts suck. But, if you'll have your own car, I'd do OKW or SSR.

We had zero issues with buses at SSR the first weekend of March. They came frequently and were never full.

The only "issue" we had was for whatever reason there was a bus driver shift change at closing time at Hollywood Studios and our new driver was late. That could have happened any any resort though, but I'm also not sure why there would be a shift change at that time anyway.

ETA: The bus service was good enough that we switched our summer plans for our 2 weeks stay from driving (12 hour drive) to flying because we were so impressed with the buses.

Interesting question since we just did about a week stay at both over the past several months in the 2BR villas.

Our latest was to SSR (a few weeks ago) and had a great location in Congress Park. They put us closest to the boat dock at DS. That actually served us very well as the boats could take us to POR/POFQ and SSR near The Turf Club (which we did use rather than walking from it). SSR was very clean and comfortable and exceeded my expectations. It had enormous televisions in both bedrooms and the LR. Service at SSR was impeccable. I'll post a review shortly.

OKW is my favorite DVC resort at WDW. We managed to get another canal view 2 BR villa which, to us, makes the experience. This past spring, we were on the first floor in building 45 (the time before we were 3rd floor in building 46). We got to do the "OKW Wave" exercise each time a boat passed by our deck. It was comical and enjoyable. I will post a review I did from OKW and share our latest experience shortly.
