AoA pool question

Do you need magic bands to get into the main pool at AoA? I'll be traveling with a little one and I would just like to know if it's one more thing I'll have to keep track of.

Yes the big blue pool requires you to scan your MB to get in. A lot of times the gate is propped open though. But you'll always want their MB handy and if it's not on them, it should be on you. It's not that hard to keep up with once you get used to it.

Like the previous poster said, yes you need your magicband to get in. It's worth remembering that the magicbands are waterproof so you can wear them in the pool. Another guest at the Boardwalk panicked when he realized he forgot to take his off, I reassured him that it would be fine and showed him I was still wearing mine.

What's also good to know is the MB is adjustable for kids smaller wrists. My girls have tiny wrists and the MB comes with instructions on how to peel off a long layer to make it smaller. It's really very easy to keep up with on our kids and the MB makes like a lot easier.

Remember that the Magic Band is also your room key, so at least one of you must have it in order to get back in your room!
