AoA not included in promotions?

We are looking to travel in November so the current FD promotion doesn't help me. However, I noticed that AoA wasn't included in the FD. I'm wondering if that means it won't be included in future promotions? If so I'm REALLY annoyed! We loved the ASMu FS and are looking forward to staying in the new ones this time around. I guess I will keep hoping for a PIN code!

Don't expect AoA to be included in any promotion the first year....or at least till it's 100% completed. ASMu FS were not included in any promos the first year it was available. Also, people are willing to stay at the new resort without a promo code, so there's no need for Disney to fill it up with one.

Ugh...I never even considered that! What if I get a PIN code? Will it be included with that?

Not included in the PIN code that I recently received.....I tried it a few different ways (family of 6, couple, family of 3) and it always popped up the red text that says no rooms at that resort were available for those dates (September and October).

I read somewhere else that Family Suites are not applicable for the Free Dining (someone correct me if I'm wrong). And those are the only rooms open during this promotional FD period in AoA... I don't think regular rooms are opening until December 31st.

But even 2013 I think this hotel will be MIA for promotions. They don't need to promote it, everyone will be wanting to stay there!

Disney knows the rooms will fill up. They don't need to offer a discount.

Crap...now we have a decision to make. We booked in the kids stay and play free promotion last year and stayed at AsMu FS. I'd be ok staying there again but the kids were SO excited about staying at AoA. I mean, if I were lucky enough to get a 30% PIN code we could almost stay at a villa with the discount vs. AoA full price. I just can't bring myself to pay full price when I could stay somewhere else cheaper.

This was our dilemma as well. We were booked for AoA, but then FD came out. Once I ran the math for our food costs that was the clincher. FD is saving us (4 adults) over $1,000! There is no way I could justify skipping those savings. Even for a newer resort. Had it only been a couple hundred I would have kept our AoA booking. So we just booked 2 rooms at ASMo and upgraded the QS to basic.

This was us at the beginning of the year. AoA was not included in the 30% pin I received in January, so we switched to Poly. Now with FD, it is cheaper to stay at Poly by quite a bit.

ASMu family suites is only a few hundred cheaper with the full price. I'd be willing to pay the extra for AoA, but if there ends up being a promotion or I get a PIN we will have to go with ASMu again. We would rather have a family suite at a value over a single room, and we had such a great experience at ASMu last year. I was just REALLY hoping for AoA
