AoA Nemo suite and BWV studio

Just be aware that many times DVC resorts just toss out any faxed requests and go with what is on the reservation. DVC has asked members not to bother faxing in any requests.

does it matter that I’m not a member or is it dvc resorts in general? But I could easily still call though right?

that’s great information! Thank you! Facing the lake and not being a thru way makes sense. The food court being only a minute away is key. I’m pretty sure I’m going to live on coffee for this trip. The only reason we picked a Nemo suite is because they seemed the closest to everything. I’ll definitely be putting this info into TP. Thanks again!

Even if you're not facing the lake -- that hallway should be great. We chose the lake view because at the time of that trip, they were showing the nightly movies on the grassy area between Nemo building 5 and LK building 6 and I didn't want to have that happening outside our window every night (though after observing where the movie screen was actually set up, I don't think it was close enough to that hallway to have bothered us if we were on the other side of the hall.) They have since moved the movies to poolside again so it shouldn't be an issue anymore (although I suppose they could change the location again). We really did like our location in the Nemo suites, though we've had very good locations in the LK suites as well. We never felt the extra cost for a Nemo suite was really worth it for us, but when we were able to get it at a discount, we pounced! :D There are rooms in Nemo that are much closer to the main building than the hallway I suggested, but I didn't want to deal with the noise of people walking by and talking all the time and also hearing that darn door slam constantly. :) We use the refillable mugs *a lot* when we're at the resort, so being close to the food court is very important. Just an FYI, there is a coffee maker in the room, so if you don't feel like walking to the food court for a fill up, you can just brew some in your room. Housekeeping can bring more coffee supplies if you need them.

I wouldn’t like that right outside the room either, but from the sound of it, we should be ok. I definitely think I’d rather not deal with the noise of a ton of other people by my room, so I really like where you are suggesting. Plus, it’ll either be my mom or I going to the food court for our early morning caffeine fix. Having the food court close is super ideal. I’ll likely hit up mousekeeping right away for extra coffee supplies though. I will say, with being a FL resident, I got a pretty good deal. At least, I think I did. This is the first Disney trip I’ve ever planned, so maybe it’s a terrible deal. I think it was $3500ish for M-F and 2 4day base park tickets. Plus, the ddp and 2 tickets to MVMCP. Not too bad, right? 😬
I would like to stay in a LK suite too since I grew up with that, but I think I’ll wait until my son is old enough to appreciate that one. I’ve only successfully gotten him to watch Moana, he actually watches it every time we are in the car, but we are still working on trying to watch the other ones. He did get through half of Finding Dory 🙂
