We're staying on property elsewhere, but I'm thinking of heading over to Art of Animation for dinner at the QS, and walking around. First week of March, BEFORE the spring break crowds start coming.

We had lunch at AoA during the day last year, and my son LOVED running around the Cars, and fish, and Lion King animals.

I heard they're lit up nicely at night. True?

Also, would you recommend going to Pop for their QS instead? I thought I saw a report where the QS there isn't as good as it used to be. How long does it take to walk from one resort to the other?

Thanks.

Hi - they are lit up nicely at night. Sounds like you have a nice evening planned. I think the food court at AoA is really good as far as food courts go. Not sure of how long mile wise the walk would be between the two resorts. My husband and I were kind of just strolling around while the kids were with the grandparents in the pool so I don't know exactly how long it took but I thought it was a nice walk, not long.

We stayed at Pop and walked to Art of Animation one morning for breakfast to have a look around. Since you have been there, you may remember the Nemo pool right behind the lobby. Just continue walking away from the lobby and you will come to a bridge that will take you to pop. it is just a few minutes walk. You can also extend your walk by walking around the lake. We did not have dinner at the resorts that we can comment on. We

Most sections look BETTER at night, actually, especially Cars. (but I thought Lion King booked a little better during the day or sunset, for some reason). It is well worth a walk around this resort.

I agree! There are a lot of nice photo ops throughout the hotel. The food court is nice and offer a great variety of food choices. The gift shop is pretty cool too, featuring a lot of the hotel featured movies souvenirs. The big blue pool is fun and lively at all hours of the day (at least when I went) and this is what I mostly loved about this resort. It's fun, energetic and screams HAPPINESS.

Agree with the other comments, IMHO the Cars area is the best part at night, with the cars' healights shining and the nice cozy cone theming. Coronado Springs is also gorgeous to walk around at night, and has a wonderful quick service.

Ooo, the cars' headlights come on? That's cool.

7-10 minute walk between the two is not long at all.

Thanks everyone.
