As usual, we had a wonderful stay at Pop Century. Thankfully we only lost a day to Hurricane Jeanne and things quickly got back to normal for us. I really feel for everyone in the area as theyve been hit so badly this year, I really hope that this is it for this hurricane season. How much more can they take?
Its a shame we had to cut the holiday short. A lot of things I put off until the 2nd week obviously didnt happen so I feel Ive missed out on a fair bit but Andy made the right choice in deciding to fly home early. Hopefully one day well stay at the Contemporary like wed planned - were aiming for May 2006 when we are supposed to be going away with my mum and her (soon to be) husband.
We are incredibly lucky that we were able to take this trip, and we are even more lucky to be heading back in December so we can do the bits we missed out on. Despite heading back early, we had a wonderful 10 days. I dont think its possible to have a miserable time at Disney World.
Thanks for reading our report and thank you for all your lovely comments, they are much appreciated. Here are some other photos taken during the trip:
the huge Expedition Everest structure at AK taken from the road outside
Disney bowling balls on display at Everything Pop - my mum and her fella are very into their bowling and he owns a pro shop. He'd love to get a license to sell them over here but can't.
the monorail going thru the Contemporary
ducks Andy saw during a walk round Pop Century
the Fantasmic stage
the Pop entrance all lit up
the tile that lies in the middle of the flooring between reception and Everything Pop
a self portrait of my lovely husband
snow outside the MGM Christmas Shop
our complimentary Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party photo - which only took a week to arrive
See you in December for more of our adventures.
