anywork yet on a VISA code for today?

For the first call I made this morning, the CM did not ask for the code and also could find NO availability for Free Dining during our 11/21-29 trip except at a Value. I was really BUMMED! What to do now? As I have learned over the years - call back and ask someone else! I called back immediately and the second CM asked for the code and said he could not proceed without it! Fortunately, someone had posted it on the Dis and I had just seen it! I gave him the code and he was able to add it right away. Makes me wonder if the first person actually looked or not???

Anyway, we got it and are set for 8 days with FREE Dining at the Boardwalk for the first time! We are Poly lovers, but wanted to try something new! Celebrating DD & DH b'days!

Just added Visa Free Dining for our Grand Gathering at POFQ for Dec. 15-21. Had to give up my 40% room discount, but still saved over $100. Now if Southwest would run a Buy One, Get One Free Ticket, it would be a perfect trip.party:

QUESTION - I paid my deposit a while ago (like almost a YEAR ago) and it wasn't on a Disney Visa. (Didn't have one at the time). Today my TA changed my ressie for me (actually I had her change the dates as well as switch to the free dining plan) and she said that Disney never asked her or required a new deposit on the Disney Visa. Should I be concerned?????????

THANKS!

The AP discount isn't blacked out either, we check in 11/26 and originally had the AP discount. I switched this morning because it only added $600 (back to rack rate) for 4 of us for 9 days.

according to the website it is and so is free dining for disney visa. boththr AP site and vis rewards say 10/4-11/24 and 11/29-12 whaterver. So I guess they are not actually blacking out those days?? I hope they do that with the gp code too!!!

I am not sure how many days they allow but we are staying Dec. 12th - 19th and got free dining for the entire stay! I was so happy when I found out it would be for the entire time!! :goodvibes

Most will take your word for it that you made the deposit on a Disney Visa. I believe the CM who applies the discount is the one that is supposed to verify whether or not you're actually eligible for the discount.

Me, personally, I would call back and make a $200 payment on the Disney Visa card to put my own mind at ease. I don't think it would be a problem if you didn't do that - it really would be my own paranoia that would make me do that. :)

I was asked if I made the deposit on the Disney Visa (of course I did) and I was also asked for the number for verification. But I was never asked for a code as others were. Buzz did have to confirm that I could upgrade to Deluxe Dining though.
I need to correct an error I made earlier. I stated that I had saved $550 with the FD, actually I saved $692!!!!!!!:woohoo:

Well, I called to make the ressie and of course my Disney Visa is maxed....they were supposed to refund my vacation balance from Sept/Oct but it's not on there yet and so I quickly made a payment but it won't post for 2 biz days. Looks like I might miss out.....all because of Chase and their tiny limit LOL and the fact that I didn't think before hand to pay this 2 days ago.

UPDATE: Well my refund was showing today....so I dialed the number, waited anxiously and YAY a confirmation number!!!

I'm so excited.....while I hate to miss out on Food and Wine festival, my 3 youngest have never seen the Christmas decorations/lights...etc and none of us have ever been to the Christmas party so this will be fun and different. Can't wait.....YAY!

Is anyone else still waiting for their email confirmation from yesterday? Could the system be that busy, or am I just not patient?:rotfl:

I also can't pull my reservation up online either.

I booked yesterday morning and finally got my email confirmation today at 10 a.m., just about 24 hours after. I'm not having a problem getting my online reservation though, it showed up shortly after I got off the phone yesterday morning.

I booked this morning at 7:30 or so and got my confirmation a few hours later.....maybe they run them in batches?

I booked Friday afternoon and received my confirmation within a few hours. Hope you get yours soon - I always feel better when I can see it all in writing!

My TA got mine, applied it to my already booked Dec trip!! Yesterday, she notified me by email. :goodvibes

I changed my reservation yesterday morning and in the afternoon online showed the new amount, but dining wasn't there any more:scared1: and I hadn't received the promised email.

I called and was assured that my package did indeed include the dining.:woohoo: I had the confirmation email this morning and it showed the correct amount and the Visa dining.:cool1::woohoo::banana:
