Anywhere to park the stroller for the day in the parks?

We're bring our stroller for DS6, but just in case. He walks around Disneyland all day all the time, but we will have a few late nights that we will want to bring the stroller just in case he crashes. I know we'd have to fold up the stroller on buses etc, but I'd rather avoid carrying him back to the room. Is there anywhere at the front of the parks to leave strollers for the day so we can just grab it if we need it? Especially MK and Epcot? Thanks!

You'd be able to park it in any of the stroller parking areas. At MK, ppl. park their strollers on the sidewalk right outside of Tony's and that's probably the closest one to the front. If I were you, I'd probably park it in the large stroller parking area next to Small World in Fantasyland, just because it's more centrally located. At Epcot the closest to the front would be the stroller parking for Spaceship Earth.

Thanks! I guess I'm just used to how much they move them in Disneyland.

Oh, they move them a ton in WDW too, but they don't move them out of an area. ie, if you park in Fantasyland, it will stay in that "parking lot" but it will likely be in a very different spot than where you left it.

Thanks. Main Street and the Small World area at Disneyland can lead to a pretty decent search. :-)

When my boys were that age, we didn't bring the stroller anymore, but they always fell asleep on the way back to the room. One night the CM noticed us carrying my son in and offered us a wheelchair to get back to the room. It worked great. After that we always borrowed one to wheel him back and then one of us would bring it back to the front to return it. Just another idea, if it helps.

Thanks! We're staying in a studio at the Poly so depending on where our room is, we might not being going through the lobby on the way back from some parks I'm thinking, but thanks for bringing up a great option! I'm guessing we won't end up bringing the stroller much, but DH can be a bear about carrying him and he's really tall so he's pretty much beyond my carrying him now. I'm probably way over thinking it as usual. :-)

Just recently Disney stopped offering or having loaner wheelchairs at resorts. This won't be an option.

As HopperFan stated, they don't have free wheelchairs at the resorts anymore. The ones there were/are pretty beat up sometimes, and I'm trying to picture a sleeping kid actually staying in an adult sized chair without the risk of a face plant and concussion... Also, having to go all the way into guest relations from the bus stop to request a wheelchair?

Yes, I read where it was stated that wheelchairs were no longer available at the resort. I was just trying to help and was not aware they were not available anymore. It has been a few years since my kids were little and fell asleep on the way back to the resort. At that time the wheelchairs were always right by the main entrance, so it worked perfect for us. We always drove to the park so we pulled right up and one of us got out of the car with the sleeping kid while the other one of us parked. We never had any problems, no concussions or face plants. Not sure what is so hard to picture.

How did they not fall out of the wheelchair when they were asleep? I'm picturing them either pitching forward, sliding out, etc, as adult wheelchairs are not designed for small children to sleep in. The gap between the backrest and seat can be pretty big too. Do they have seatbelts?

Maybe this will help. This is my then 4 1/2 year old asleep in the wheelchair at AKL. There does not seem to be any gap between the backrest and seat. As you can see, he fits fine in it. We only had to wheel him to the room, it wasn't far so there were no problems. The CM suggested it to us, so there must have been other people doing it for them to tell us to try it.

That's a much nicer chair than the ones I've seen down there. I'd just be worried my kid would slide out of the seat while I was pushing it.
