I have a trip planned with the Family for 9/22-9/29. My beloved Chicago Bears play the NBC Sunday Night Game that week on the 23rd. as luck has it MK has Magic hours that night so they have something to do but..... Does anyone suggest anywhere else to watch the game and have a beer other then ESPN Club?? or maybe any other Bears fan who are going to be there who want to watch the game too...

We tend to avoid ESPN not just due to the crowds but more importantly the miserable beer selection. One place we like to go is the Territory Lounge at the Wilderness Lodge. Not a large TV but comfortable place, has decent wings and you can order any of the desserts from Artist Point. On tap they have Red Hook ESB (totally dumbed down since AB took a stake in them, of course) and Moosehead. I think they may have some Bert Grant's beers in bottles.

Another good spot is the Crew's Cup over in the Yacht Club. They have Samuel Adams on tap and a decent bottle selection and it usually doesn't get too crowded.

Not sure if you're a craft beer person - I just like to preach...

I don't know what resort you will be staying at but how about just grabbing a beer down at your resort's bar/poolbar? DBF is a big sports fan (Patriots and Red Sox!!) and several times when we've been down in WDW we've had to make sure we catch a Pats game on Monday night or a Sox game. We did go to ESPN for the first Monday Night Football game of the season a few years ago (the Pats were playing against Indy) and ESPN was packed!! We actually had to wait in line outside for quite a long time. Luckily, another Patriots fan spotted DBF in his Pats jersey and welcomed us to his table with open arms! One Pats fan to another, you know....I would try your resort bar or poolbar. It's a relaxing alternative to ESPN and it probably won't be as crowded trying to see the game or ordering a beer. :drinking1

I'll be in Disney during the Alabama - Auburn football game. Gotta watch to see my Tide Roll!!! So, will the resort bar or poolbar have college games? I'd rather not fight a big crowd at ESPN.

I'm sure if it's not on, if you ask, they'll put it on for you. We always stay at Pop Century and the bartenders there are really nice and accomodating. Plus they have an inside bar as well as a pool bar, so if one is really crowded, we just go check out the other one.

You might consider the Official All-Star Café at the Wide World of Sports complex. They have over 20 large screen TVs there. The only problem is they're usually only open until 9:00 p.m. I don't know if they stay open later for Sunday Night Football. You could contact Disney Dining and find out for sure.
