Anywhere at the BW that actually refills the mugs?

I can understand for health reasons why they give a disposable cup, but I'm curious. It's the end of our second day at BWV and we just finally realized that there were other places to refill than the bakery.

Yes, if you are staying at the BW then the Belle Vue Room on the Inn side of the resort will refill your mugs with coffee in the morning (actually give you a disposable cup just like they do at the bakery). It's located on the 2nd floor (Lobby floor) by the elevators for the Inn side of the BW resort. The 4 coffee drinkers in our group enjoyed the coffee they served here during our 5 night stay two weeks ago. It was always less crowded in the mornings than the bakery. They also had a limited selection of pastries from the bakery, including the muffins that my family really enjoyed.

We got our mugs filled by the main pool, Belle Vue Lounge for coffee in the mornings, Boardwalk Bakery, and the Spoodles Pizza Window (or whatever that place is called now!)

Are these places still valid? The Belle View lounge sounds great for coffee in the morning. Coffee is the only reason we have the mugs.

Oh crud. I try to minimize my use of disposable cups. So none of these places at the BW will actually fill your mug? Rats.

Anywhere that does drink refills by a CM / behind the counter is going to give you a cup and not refill your drink mug. Only the self-serve places allow you to fill your refillable mug, AFAIK. I think your environmental consciousness is great, but I think you should just not worry about it for your Disney vacation. Due to health codes, they have no choice.

You can fill your own mug with coffee at Boardwalk Joe's Cart, hours vary but we found it open every morning. The Coffee Machines are on the Left side of the cart, no need to ask the Cast Member for assistance, self serve

So a question about the refills. Did I go overboard? When filling our cups at the pool I brought along a roll of quarters. I made sure that the kids tipped them each time since a bartender had to get the drinks. They were very appreciative of the $.25. A small amount, but it added up quickly with 6 kids. Anyhow, was it okay to tip? Were we setting up expectations for others? I didn't want to walk to the bakery each time.

I never really gave that any thought - but I think that was a nice thing for you to have the kids do. We don't usually fill our mugs at those staffed locations, and I'm not sure I would have thought at all about tipping. However, given that I would tip if I was ordering a drink there, it does kind of make sense. I think it's one of those gray things - I'm sure many people would not offer any kind of tip for filling their mug at the pool bar. But I also wouldn't consider giving them a quarter going overboard.
