Anything to do in Albuquerque?

I'm headed out Mon morning for a conference. Does anyone have suggestions about things to do or see?

What sort of things do you like? Indoors (museums, gallerys, etc), shopping, cultural, outdoors...? Will you have transportation? How long will you have?

Tons! you might want to go back a few pages as someone else asked the same question.... Old town is nice. If you're staying a few days, you might try to do the tram - longest tram in the world. We've got some Indian casinos. Wierd Al Yankovic will be here on the 15th. lol. Anything specific you're interested in?

Albuquerque has a cute little Aquarium with a botanical garden attached to it. The Zoo is really nice too

Thanks for the responses. I will be there Aug 11-14th. I'm staying at the Hyatt which is attached to the conf center, so I do not plan to rent a car. I like to shop Is there anything within walking distance (or I'm sure there are taxis?) The show ends around 3:00 each day, so I'd have a little time to do something.

The Hyatt is downtown - they have a little shopping galleria where the Hyatt is and close to it. And you're in downtown - there are a few shops there that can be kind of fun. Some homeless as well, unfortunately. Find Central Avenue and you'll find lots of little shops - it's only a few blocks (if that) from your hotel - really close. Some neat restaurants, bars, a movie theater.....
There used to be a "trolley" that went to old town and back, so you might ask concierge about that - if you are a good walker - it's about 15 city blocks. Don't know how much of a trek you want to make - to old town. Botanical gardens is further than that. They do have taxis, and the Hyatt is a nice hotel, so you shouldn't have any trouble finding one. They are pricey, as I recall.
