I'm currently planning a trip back to Disney for this summer. My eldest daughter (a cancer survivor) had a wish trip to Disney World in Sept 2011 to meet Ariel and my girls are soooo excited to go back. We stayed at the wonderful Give Kids the World resort, which was just soooo amazing and which we absolutely adored. We are definitely planning on going back to GKTW to see my daughter's star and to see Ol Elmer again and maybe even see some of the volunteers who made our trip so memorable! I was just wondering if there are any new activities or experiences or buildings at GKTW that we should know about? Would any former wish families know if we are even allowed to take part in these activities--I imagine we are allowed to visit the grounds and use the pool and playground, go on the carousel--but are we also allowed to get an ice cream cone or take part in any of the day's activities (like meeting visiting characters, going for a horseback ride or taking part in the Winter Wonderland party, etc.)?
