Anything major going on in the parks last week of April/first week of May?

Specifically April 26th thru May 5th..

Also, is there a site where I can find the park hours for that time frame from last year? I know things can change from day to day - minute to minute - but I thought it would be worth a look..

How about parades and such? Are they only on the weekends that time of year?

Not sure of the exact dates, but the Flower and Garden Festivities will be full "bloom" at EPCOT. Which includes the Flower Power Concert series in the evenings. This is a wonderful event that draws lots of folks to EPCOT, especially on the weekends. Early May has become a very popular time of year to visit WDW and we will be there for our 11th year in a row along with many friends. Also lots of school activities as we have noticed in the past years. While the crowds will not be busy like Christmas or Easter/Spring break, don't expect a low attendance either. I find this equal to our October trips in terms of crowds, so you still want to make those ressies, both rooms and meals.

We'll be at the A/S Movies from April 28th - May 8th.

I like flowers - so I "think" I like the idea of the Flower Show..

What's the weather like that time of year? Much rain?

Park hours will probably be shorter at that time of year. Usually, the only event that will not be scheduled daily is the SpectroMagic parade. The weather will be warm -- around 85+.
The official disney world site only just posted February hours. You will have to wait a while for "official" hours.

I don't have the exact dates but I know someone here does....hopefully they will come to your rescue...usually Friday and Saturday nights during this time.....anyone?????

Grad nights this year include 4/23, 4/24, 4/30, and 5/1. Hope this helps!!!!

CAnn you can get the park hoursfrom the top of the page just click on park hours and then put in the dates and it will give you the hours from last years time period.
