Was going to stop in today, but got a flat...What is on sale now? Is it worth it to make a special trip?
Thanks!

We went to the mall this evening and just took a quick look around the Disney Store. Lots of items were on sale but I wasn't really looking to buy, so maybe someone else can give you details. I did notice that all the plush were 50% off (DS 3 wants the HUGE Mickey so I'm thinking of going back for that tomorrow). They had nice zip-up adult fleece jackets on sale for $29.99 and I also noticed kids' underwear was 33% off. The lady said the Brother Bear items were on sale but I didn't look at those.
They were also handing out a "$5 off purchase of $25 or more" coupon that's good for several more days, I believe.

Wish I could give you more specifics. The kids were with me so I had to just make a quick trip through the store!

We were there today and all toys and stuffed toys were buy one get one free.

Some buy 1g1 free stuffed animals and I bought the boys a couple of tee shirts that were $5.99 each if you bought 2.

The promo ended yesterday. If I hadn't had the flat, I would've gotten a much better discount. The CM tried to tell me I got better sale prices today, but I think she was just trying to make me feel better. I bought flannel pjs with pants for 40% off, buy 1 game get 1, buy 1 doll get 1, a mickey jacket for 40., two adult tees @ 9.99, 2 kids tees @ 5.99, two rolie polie olie beanies for 5.33 each, and two washclothes for 1.25 each. I would have bought more of the fleece sweatshirts that were on sale for 25. and the zip sweatshirts for 30.had I gotten an additional 20% off. Guess they lost $ on me by taking the sale away....

Is the Disney store a good place to buy matching family Disney T-shirts? I'm having problems since my DH is an X-large. Or I find a cute shirt for my DS but it doesn't come in adult sizes. I'm looking for something that isn't cutesy or too young for my DS who is 7. We are going in February so it could be a Christmas or bday gift.

p.s. I'm not a shopper so I'm looking for an efficient way to accomplish this. I must admit I've only been in the Disney store a total of MAYBE 2 times.

My ultimate shirt would be a NY Yankee's Disney Shirt or the mouse playing baseball. I'm not a huge sports fan but guess who are Yankee fans???!!!

I believe the catalog has family geared shirts that you can personalize. If you are looking for a less expensive option, the DS has adult t's 9.99 if you buy 2 or more, and kids t's 5.99 for 2 or more. You could buy similar prints or make your own. You could also go to a place like Walmart or Kmart, and see what Disney tshirts they have, although they would probably be available only in the summer. Walmart has disney patches you could sew on to matching tshirts if you are creative.

I just got back from the Disney Store and all plush and toys are buy one, get one free. My niece made out like a bandit with all the toys I got her. lol

I was there today. They still have the toys, buy 1 get 1 free. They also have Christmas ornaments 50% off, adult tees, 2 or more for $9.99. Christmas coffee mugs, 50% off, adult pj's 40% off. Snowglobes are $20 off and the Mickey 75th Anniv. snowglobe for $10.00. :bounce: They have lots of other things on sale as well....I just can't remember what!!!! :teeth:

The buy 1 got 1 free sale on toys is awesome!!!!

We got our DD (4) the talking Cinderella Coach and the Castle with the 3 princesses.....what a deal!

I bought 2 glass ornament sets.

One is the Pooh collection and the other Mickey thru the years.

Half off plus $5. coupon.

Thanks for the tip. I went back and returned mine from black Friday at $20 a piece and replaced them for $10. Times three that buys me one day in the park for my DD with the savings.

Does anyone know if the toys are still buy 1/get 1 free?

I wanted to get some kids PJs too. Are those on sale?

I haven't bought anything for xmas yet and I need to find a good sale.

I'm feeling a bit ripped off by "The Disney Store". I bought several items in the early part of November. When I called the other day(after seeing a post here about the great savings), 3 items were reduced. The total difference would have been 23.50. I was told by "Steve" in the Columbus Ohio store that only a 7 day adjustment could be made. I asked if I could rebuy the items. He said, "I suppose that's one way around it but if you return the finger puppets, you can't rebuy them. We put them into the back room and they are rerouted through our inventory. HOW STUPID!!! the district manager called from Cleveland. ..NO EXCEPTIONS TO THE 7 day adjustment. Bah humbug! This Santa won't do her shopping at Disney any more.I even requested Disney Dollars since we are going to WDW next month. They could have just considered it recycling!!!

usually I just rebuy them and return the old stuff, if its more than a few $. I bought the grumpy flannel pj set at 40% off, now its 50%. and the same thing with the ornaments. They should allow you to rebuy the finger puppets even if they are in the back room. I guess it depends on which CM/store you get. I find their prices higher than I would normally spend for clothes (40. for a sweatshirt seems high to me) so I only shop their sales. I suppose a lot of people do this, which is why their sales vary on the same stuff so much. Good luck, try another DS if you have one local.
