On June 19, I'll be turning 18, and I'm going down to Disney on the 18th. I'm going with my mom and my older sister (she's 19). Is there anything fun to do with three adults (two of them underaged), or anything fun an 18 year old can do alone?

  • Make friends with the Jungle Cruise captain early in the trip and then heckle him. Plan for it, write up some good material. Watch a bunch of videos of the tour so you can write some good heckles. Practice them beforehand. Seriously though, that first step is all that will keep you from getting kicked out of the park. Best to wait till the end of the day anyway.
  • Buy an alligator head pond float (check amazon) and let it go in the resort or park water features (ponds, fountains, even just tucked under some shrubs) then kick back and have a meal while watching the hilarity ensue.
  • If you go to Epcot, have everyone get fitted for a kimono at mitsukoshi.
  • Create a checklist of character meet and greets and get pictures of you asking the characters to tell you a dirty joke. Of all the princesses, only Merida and Pocahontas were able to come up with one for us and they were both actually very clean and even a little funny.
    • Original version of this is to get a pic of you telling a dirty joke to each princess ... but ... I was asked to stop after only two.
  • Dress up in clothes from the 70s and come staggering out the exit of Tom Sawyer Island like you got lost there 45 years ago.
  • Photobomb other families vacation photos.
    • My favorite on this one is when we dressed up like haunted mansion hitchhiking ghosts and jumped into the picture where the photopass guy has you pretend to see the ghosts and they edit them in later.
Endless amusement. Create a fake language (like in Nel)and walk up to guests at the world showcase as if you work there. Really mix it up too, wear lederhosen and a sombrero with wooden dutch shoes and come up with a language that sounds like Dutch-German-Spanish

Whatever you do, make sure it is a memory that will be sung about in the halls of Valhalla ... Then sing about it in the halls of the new Frozen attraction.

One of the most fun things my 17 year old enjoyed was getting the sea raycers. Those are the small 2 person boats you can rent from several resorts. Its not only fun to drive your own little boat, but it is interesting to see the resorts and MK from a different perspective. Do this before 2pm as the afternoon storms will shut the rentals down. All of the cast members at the EPCOT world showcase are from the country they work, and many are 18-22 years old. Its a lot of fun to talk to them about their country. If you've never done the water parks, they are a blast for teens. Search for hidden Mickeys or other secrets of the parks. Then there is all the specialty food items - zebra domes, dole whips, kona coffee..... Oh - the Japan Pavillon in EPCOT has a Pick a Perl experience that I hear is fun. But I love the shopping there. As a joke, I always buy a few packs of the freeze dried fiddler crabs to bring back as gifts for people. They smell horrible and it takes weeks to get the taste out of your mouth. Much worse than Beverly at Club Cool.
