Anyplace for someone who's not a registered resort guest to park overnight?

I'm staying at the Beach Club Resort from 11/01-11/08. A friend of mine who lives in the area will be meeting me at MGM and then we'll be going to MK until closing. Since it will be so late, I might have him just crash in my resort room, so he doesn't have to worry about driving home so late. But is there anywhere for him to park overnight? Any ideas? I've been to WDW before, but this issue never came up.

Thanks!

Chas

The best suggestion I can give you is if your friend decides to stay, you need to go the front desk of your resort and register him for the night, let them know he has a car, and they should be able to give him a parking pass for the night. But if you don't register him, you won't get the pass. You shouldn't have any trouble unless he puts you over the room occupancy limit.

If you don't have a car of your own, ask the front desk for a parking pass when you check in anyway, then your friend can use it.

Wow, thanks for the speedy replies!!

The parking pass idea is great. But I will have a rental car, so I'll already be using that.

I didn't know that you could register a guest for one night. Do you know if there is a cost associated with that?

Thanks again.

They will most likely just give you the extra pass if you ask - we had two cars in our group once and I just told them when we checked in and they gave me two.

Go to guest services the day you want your friend to stay . There should not be an additional charge as long as it just the 2 of you. Disney charges for the room not per person as long as there are not more than 2 adults in the room.

We have had guests come and meet us for the day, and gotten a car pass at the front deck, even though we had two adults already and a rental.

If there are more than 2 adults registered in your room than the 3rd one will be charged $25/nt. Although I hear that sometimes they don't charge. It all depends on who is working at the desk.

Thanks for the great ideas. I'll ask guest services about a parking pass on the day he is visiting. Sounds like we'll be able to work something out.

There is really no limit to the amount of parking passes you can have, as long as you do not go over the room limit. IE: room for 4 persons, you can have 4 parking passes

We stayed at BCV, and my parents came to visit, and they stayed for dinner, and late in the evening with us.

I just stopped at the desk, before they arrived, asked about parking for them, ie, what are their options? Can they valet? Should they park at a theme park, and catch a bus? Do they just get a certain time allowed pass?

And the CM asked me my room number, last name, and just printed out a parking pass.

We didn't have a rental ourselves...
