Anyony use PhotoImpact 12 to create DISigns

I just got a new laptop for Christmas, and I was exploring the preloaded programs-- And Yes Photo Impact 12 is there!!!!
I remeber a few months ago I came to this board and found a way for the free 30 day trial, well that expired- I gave up (did not want to pay for it). To make a long story short... I want to start DISigning for my April Family Trip-- And I need PhotoImpact for Dummies or any hints. If you don't mind helping out!!
