Anyonre use SKYPE ??

Ive been dithering about using skype, does anyone have any experiances of using this service ??

I use it a lot. It is very good. I also have it on my mobile. I use it to talk to a mate in Portugal a lot.

DH has skype, its good, my dad uses it to call his family in singapore, some of them have skype so its free, otherwise its only about 2p a minute

Am i right in thinking you don't need a specific phone ? and is it free between users in the uk only or worldwide?

I use skype a lot to talk to Simon in Canada. It's a very cheap method of making long distance phone calls.

It is a App that runs on my phone. I am with three. It is free to any Skype user.

I am a big fan of SKYPE

Its easy to use, easy to install on your PC and very cheap

SKYPE to SKYPE calls are free regardless of location. As an example I often travel to Japan on business and call the family at home in the UK using SKYPE to SKYPE for free. Mind you even using SKYPE to ring a UK landline from Japan costs just a few pence a minute.

Last year whilst in Japan I used SKYPE to call DVC member services in the US, the 25 minute call cost me £0.52.

Since starting to use SKYPE we have introduced family and friends who now also use SKYPE, again these calls are free and even though most are UK to UK there are significant savings over normal landline calls, especially during business hours.

You can even purchase a regional telephone number for SKYPE allowing you to receive calls on SKYPE that are made from normal landlines.

Nat we have Skype and use it mainly to talk to DD at Uni so it's free calls and she don't need to worry about running up a phone bill if she needs to get hold of us.

We use Skype too, I also have it on my iphone which is great means I can use it anywhere!
