We just returned from the Verizon store, the clerk was telling us how they updated some models because the battery was the back of the phone...so if the phone was "squeezed" in any way (included up against a pocket, in a purse pocket, etc) the phone would turn itself off. Very odd, but we will steer clear of those!

We don't carry insurance on our phones, we always have extras so if one of them breaks we can just activate the old one instead.
