With all of the problems people have had with the new system, I am afraid reservations may get lost. I have this fear of showing up and them saying that I have no ADR's. :scared: I thought about calling to confirm them a little later on, but then my paranoia jumps out and says what if they lose them when they pull them up to confirm? Has anyone ever showed up for your reservation and they had no record of it? I need to stop worrying and sit back and relax until trip time.

Don't worry, just take all your confirmation numbers with you.

Happened to us at Yak and Yeti. And I got major attitude like I was faking. _ the place was EMPTY had just opened and it was still EMPTY when we left. But they sat us after about 20 minutes of trying to find where to fit us in. :rotfl2: in the empty restaurant.
So YES now I take our Confirmation numbers always!

Im worried too, I booked through the club level cm's and I am worried since I didn't get any confirmation numbers that tehre won't be a ressie :(

:lmao: Java

Whenever that happens to me and my sisters we quote Meet the Parents when Ben Stiller is at the empty airport terminal. LOL

We've had it happen twice...and that is why we always carry our confirmation numbers with us.

Have the Club Level CM's print out your list with confirmation numbers when you check in.

When we checked into the CSR last year, the Manager came out to greet us (this was because we were being upgraded to a suite for our 25th wedding anniversary). He gave us a print out of all of our dining reservations with the numbers. I compared it to what I had and there was one missing and they immediately fixed it for us and confirmed what I had on my list.

Booked 180 days out (when it was 180 out) and they had each and every one of them. I had the ADR #s just in case though.

We have had it happen more than once. I always have my conf. #'s with me and that helps. We have never been turned away but we have had to wait. They want to make it right.

Errors occur, but it's not like they upgraded their system to Post-It notes. Take your numbers with you - you can get a copy from your resort concierge at check-in - and relax a little and enjoy your trip! :thumbsup2

You actually booked through the Itinerary Planning Office asosciated with the resort where you are staying club level (they are not the same CMs who actually work the desks in the club lounges). Feel free to contact the IPO and have them send you the confirm numbers for your ADRs. I have the confirm numbers sent to me in advance on each trip (sometimes multiple times, when I change ADRs) and it is never an issue or a problem. They can send you the info via e-mail, fax or even read it to you over the phone, if need be.

I'll also add that through 16 trips to WDW over the last 10 years, I've never had an ADR (or "priority seating", as they used to be called) get lost.

I will definitely have my confirmation numbers with me. We have never had a problem in the past with any being lost. I was just afraid that with this new system and all the kinks they seem to have in it, who knows what will happen.

I booked my ADR's before the newer system (I think) and I do have a few concerns. Mosty b/c I had made one ADR and was given a confrimation #. then called to chage and and the ADR # I have her was not mine! They didn't have that ADR that I had requested. Thankfully I did call about something else and I was able to get the one I wanted.
I will be sure to have my Resi. #'s w/ me.

in 10 trips I have had 2 cases of messed up ADR's. In both situations they were somehow on the wrong date. (Why Disney would think I could eat at Jiko & Artist Point within 15 mins of each other, I don't know? and They actually had my CRT lunch on the day before we arrived once). However, it was easily remedied. Because I had my #, the CRT folks fit us in, with some difficulty for them. I caught the Jiko misschedule when the CL staff printed out the list on our arrival.

Please note: They keep track of the ADR's by phone number. It took us a while to find some "lost" ADR when I called before a trip to reconfirm. I had made some ADR's using my cell phone # and some using our home #.

Advice: Call at least the week before your trip to reverify.

I have had a few instances where my name was completely wrong in their system...they just couldn't find me. That's why I always have my ADR confirmation numbers with me...that has been a life saver in the past.
When I sat there, at CP one night, I watched a man argue with the CMs taking the checkins at the window. She kept telling him that she couldn't find his ADR anywhere...she asked him if he was sure of the time...his reply?? 'Well, I think it was sometime between 5:30 and 8 but can't remember. Just put us anywhere.' Well, he walked away, with a smirk and said to his wife who was sitting a few feet from me..'See, I told you that if you were firm enough they would let us in...no need to make reservations!' And my dh has a friend who tries that same strategy every time. And there is the woman I was behind in the checkin for LeCellier....couldn't find her either. Why? Her ADR was for the next day!!!
I can understand why the CMs get nudgy when we insist that we have ADRs!!!
