Anyone working tomorrow?

Nope, I am officially "retired" now . Ok, I 'retired' from my last job because I couldn't hear on the phones any longer-looking for something that I can do that doesn't require me to hear. School starts tomorrow for the twins so we will probably spend most of the day making sure we have everything they need for that.

I don't mind working Holidays we get 10 a year and I get 3X$ . I work 4 on 4 off so every week has a long weekend for me.

After working key to key for the past week I am truly exhausted. This will be the first week since moving to Florida from Ohio that I haven't been to the parks. Thank Genie its Monday. lol

Yeah..working...sitting at my desk right now....since I am DISing, I guess I am technically not working...

DH is working too...he is gonna float his holiday to later in the month, and I am looking to do the same...I am needing a 4 day weekend toward the end of the month, so hopefully I can move it to there...

During the school year I work a f/t job and a p/t job. Today is my last day off for a long time. It's a beautiful day here in Western Ma., so I'm going to be outside

Me. But I'm making myself limit my time spent working. It's way too easy to work non-stop when it's a home office, as many here probably know.

I gave myself a stern talking-to and said, "Me? For every hour you spend working, you must spend an hour on the DIS." So far, it's working.

Yep, I'm at work right now. I don't get any holiday pay or extra days off because of it. All 4 years of college we had class on labor day. My "weekend" is Wednesday-Friday.

I am not working but DH as worked 12 hour shifts yesterday and today. He is a 911 dispatcher, so no holiday's for him but he does get paid double time and a half for holidays. The only holiday he normally tries to take off is Christmas, but sometimes he works a couple hours so that anyone who wants to can spend time with the family.

I the GM of a hotel and catering facility. I work all the holiday and weekends.

Been doing that for over 22 years. Just something you deal with.

Honestly they just become another day.
