If you do or have worked for Universal in Orlando in any capacity, could you please tell me what you like/don't like about the experience?

since the boards are read by management, i doubt you will get any replies to your question.

any employee that would state negative things about their job might jeopardize themselves don't you think.....

well, I've gotten advice from Disney CM's here before, so I'm sure that someone if they were interested in answering questions could PM me for my email addy or something like that. I was just interested in finding out more about a potential employer.

Likes: having fun with the guests, randomly VIPing families just to make their day Awesome, the perks (will not go into detail here)

Dislikes: same as you would find at almost every job

Thank you. Can you tell me how long you've worked for them? Do they have alot of turnover like Disney? Can you tell me anything about changing positions once you have stayed with the company for so long? Do they hire people for full time positions or is it mostly part time?

Grand total: more than 5yrs

Turnover is high; they hire both full and part time. They also have career development options available for all their team members.

I use to work there when I was in high school

For a high school job - it's AWESOME, but granted this was about 12 years ago. I worked in the Food Service area and the only thing I really hated about the job was the cleanup at the end of the night. Otherwise, the top management was not mean in any way, they didn't micro manage or anything of that nature. You deal with that a lot more in office jobs I guess - but hey it can happen anywhere.

If I still lived in Orlando, I'd definitely go for a full-time professional position with them.

Thanks for the info. I have an interview with them when I get to Orlando in a couple of weeks!
