Hey I was at Bath and Body and the displays are so cute, they are tall with gerber daisies and other bright flowers- My cousin was going to use those to decorate for my shower! I wondered if you know anyone that works at one and could find out what they do with the displays when finished? I would buy them from the store, I just feel so silly asking-
Thanks-

I dont work there, but I can tell you that here (we are in Columbus, the home of B&B, Limited, Express, ect.) that they get donated to different things if they are unusable again (i.e. glass jars can be reused). I know that they get sent back to a warehouse here locally and distributed to nursing homes, hospitals and the likes. The Limited also does a lot of charity fundraising here and they sometimes end up at those events..... You may want to contact the home office, I also know that most of thier display things are available at White Barn......

Michaels has similar things now.

I saw your post about working at bath and body and can let you in on the prop schedule...

1.Go to the store and get to know the store manager, they are more likely to give (or sell) props to people who ask first. Smaller stores (not in malls) get more props then they usually need

2. If this is a current window set they will not be throwing out the props in the near future

3. However, they get a list every January and June about what they must keep and what they can discard (they receive these lists about 3-4 weeks in advance)

4. Everything is sold for either 50cents, and up to about $5 for bigger things

Hope that helps a little!

Thanks! I have gone to 3 and put my name on lists- I am number 2 on 2 lists and 3 on another, but my aunt near St Louis did the same and I fiance lives 45 min north of me and is going to do the same.

I will also check out Michaels too Thanks!!!! We donot have Michaels but a Village Crafts by Micahels.

One mgr said they will be reusing some things and many of the brides need them in June, I am not til Nov so I am hoping it will be too late for some of them. I figure my luck will be I will end up with all of them or none of them. I may bring some to Disney and use for centerpieces at the rehearsal dinner- I thought about telling them I would donate to Give Kids the World...I was planning on looking in to that anyway----
