Hi
I was stopped in my local supermarket today and asked if i wanted to join Talktalk-the offer was that i would only be paying £12.20 per month and this included line rental and and free international calls and free evening and weekend calls. Is sounds like a great offer especially against BT.
Anyone here with talktalk, is it worth me changing??
Thanks!

We have Talk Talk phone and broad band in the shop and they seem to be ok, the free calls is good, as we are a business we get free landline calls weekdays allday which is great for calling suppliers etc.

Can't say as I have any grumbles, although I have heard bad stuff about them in the past.

I've got TalkTalk it costs £20 a month for everything including Broadband but excluding mobiles and 087 etc numbers, we had a few teething problems but now it's great and I definately get my moneys worth out of the broadbamd :rotfl2: When we did it we had an offer with Tesco and we got about 1000 free points might be worth checking out :thumbsup2

I joined TalkTalk in december on the £20 package and have had no problems with their phone service. It seems as though they add vat on top of this coz my monthly bills are usually £23, but it does include your line rental which they pass on to BT.

I also asked for their broadband, free to some areas, but ours would be £10 per month - a lot less than BT. This was meant to be activated on 9 January and I was patient with them. They asked for a MAC code from BT to move my service across mid march which I gave them. They asked for it again mid april as my original number had expired, I obviously didn't get it to them quickly enough - mm, ten minutes after BT gave it to me!

I called BT again for a MAC code but happened to say to the guy ' I need a MAC code for TalkTalk, unless you can give me my broadband at £10 a month' (had been on the 22.99 package). He replied 'I can give you it for £12.99 a month'! Needless to say I stayed with BT for that price, its only 5Gb download but that doesn't really affect me.

The annoying thing is I called TalkTalk straight away to tell them to remove my broadband order, then received 4 phone calls, an email and a letter requesting my MAC code in the next month!! I stopped explaining to them and hopefully they'll get the message!!

My friend had talk talk and had nothing but problems with them. Her broadband hardly ever worked, there were mistakes on her bills, she had several faults on the line etc. Every time she called to sort it out she said it would take ages to get through and then they were a nightmare to deal with.
