I have severe pollen allergies and I was wondering if anyone else has and has gone on the eastern Carribean cruise? I'm sure with my meds I'll be alright(most of the time), but I am concerned with the day we go to St. Thomas. We were thinking of doing Magen's Bay on our own, but then I realized that the public taxis may be larger, open-aired vehicles or at the very least might be cars with no air conditioning. I know that if I were to ride in car with the windows down in April where I live, I would be sick for a week or longer.
I know that since St. Thomas is a tropical island they won't have the huge infusion of pollen that we have here in April, but riding with the wind blowing in my face, even on a low pollen day, will bring on an allergy attack no matter how many meds I take. Is there anyone who has been in the same situation? How did you fare?
