Anyone with pic of renovated lego store

We were at Disney last April and they were renovating the lego store my son who has ADHD is apaplectic about what they may have CHANGED about his beloved store and play place. It would put us at ease if anyone has pictures or even descriptions. Changes are not his thing and if he had his way all we would see in WDW is the Downtown Disney and the Lego store. he thinks this is the 5th park LOL. Thanks for the help. We need lots of prep to prepare to do Disney well.

They didn't change any of the lego sculptures. The inside is set up a little differently to reflect the newer merchandise and they have a new area of cash registers. It seemed like there was a lot more merchandise now and I even hit a big sale. Last time I was in the Lego store I was without the kids so I didn't look at the play area, and I can't remember what it looked like from last August.

My DS also loves the Lego store and he can't wait to get there.

I too, would love to see some pictures of the renovated Lego Store, did they re-do the whole Downtown Disney... or just that store ???
Where could I get a picture ??

We are planning a trip, but it isn't until January..... can't wait !!

Last April the store was open but the play area was boarded up and they were re-doing that part I thought.. They must have changed some of the inside too.

The play area is much nicer now.


1) The crappy seems-like-they-threw-it-up slide and 'house' is much nicer now.

2) The car racing track is also updated (it's a lot nicer also).

3) They don't have the 'bricks in water' they used to have at the play stations outside.

4) All of the lego structures are still there, some were a little worse for the wear.

I took a couple pictures at DTD, here are the only one where you can see a part of the play area:

DD could literally spend hours there.

Thank you Thank you! DS is so happy to hear there is still a car racing station! He was so thrilled to see the pictures and happily proclaimed "Phew its still the same! LOL" I am also pleased to see more seats for parents to rest while I broil in the sun watching lego land!!

Yes, much more seating for bored parents. Disney pegged that one for sure. They have a wall that has a bunch of legos for younger children too, so they won't be left out. I can just see it now when DD#2 is old enough to play with those, I'll have to stand halfway in between the big legos and the small legos.
