I have had migraines for about 12 years, they have gotten more severe the last 6 yrs and I wouldn't be able to function if it weren't for the meds. I take Relpax or imitrex. I have found certain triggers so I avoid them but sometimes it's hard. I can't drink any carbonated drinks, weird huh? Also foods with nitrates will sometimes set me off. Like deli meat, hot dogs, etc. But my biggest trigger is a big storm, with a change in the barometric pressure. When a big weather pattern change comes through it's amazing how many people you'll hear say they have a headache, so I guess it's no wonder migraine sufferers will be worse. Hope you find something that helps you.
