Anyone with an AP rate over Thanksgiving?

I want to start planning a quick trip after Thanksgiving '04. On what day after Thanksgiving were you able to get an AP rate. Friday(dreaming), Saturday or Sunday after Thanksgiving?

Thanksgiving 2002 we had an AP rate at the contemporary in the tower for the week of thanksgiving checking the Saturday before and leavign the saturday after.

I was just down there and had AP rates at both hotels for my entire stay.

I arrived the day after Thanksgiving and had to spend the first 2 nights at the Caribbean Beach and the rest of my stay at the Wilderness Lodge (tried for the lodge for the entire stay, but it was sold out).

I did have reservations at both resorts under the AAA rate, to at least have some kind of discount, but as soon as the AP rates hit, I called and changed them over.

I would book ressies under something like AAA, then keep your eyes and ears open for the AP rates. They were late in releasing them, so don't be surprised if you're in September and still looking for them.

Well I was a tad slow on booking my trip over Thanksgiving, so when I called, the only Value resort I could get a room at on the day after Thanksgiving was at Sports. Even then it was only $77/night. I got an AP rate for the rest of my stay at Sports, but could have had Music as well.

If you don't jump at the moment the rates are let out, you may just have to split your stay or just have 2 separate reservations. Starting the Sunday after Thanksgiving, the crowds started to leave and it was quite nice in the parks.

I would love to get an AP rate on Friday after Thanksgiving. This will be our last trip with our APs.
