I watched SNL last night for the first time in years. I thought it was awful!!The only thing I thought was kinda funny were the 2 gals that do the weekend update.
My hubby tapes it and we just watched the Disney Vault segment... SOOO funny. Whoever made it knew a lot about "Disney's issues," like not wanting to release "Song of the South." I alos love when they showed Walt's frozen head! Very disrepectful!

It's satire, it's not supposed to be respectful. I didn't find it side-splittingly funny, but I did think it made a good point about the cheesy direct-to-video sequels. And I did laugh out loud when they found Jim Henson bound and gagged in the Disney Vault.
yeah, I thought it was pretty funny too, particularly the song of the south.....it amazed me how many people asked me about that movie when I worked at Splash.....
I watched it and thought some of it was funny. As I was watching it I was wondering how NBC got away with using Mickey? I know Disney frowns on anything that portrays Disney in a bad light which this was. Any copyright experts out there, Im curious??

I just watched the Vault skit on You Tube...and it was great!
Now I love Disney and everything about it, I work at the Disney Store,
(where, by the way, yesterday I had to ask every guest if they wanted to purchase Bambi or Bambi 2 before it "went back into the VAULT".
So I can really appreciate alot of the stuff this skit had to say.
Do you know how old it gets when people constantly ask you (and you have no good answer) why the WDC does this with their movies and why you can't get Song of the South anywhere??
I taped show last night and watched it this morning. Show itself was god awful, but the Disney segment was about the only thing I laughed at. Walt's private version of Song of the South was great (I have SOS on dvd, but neices/nephews don't really like it).
