Oh man...I watched yesterday and I thought oh man with Bill Maher on its going to be interesting but I thought everyone handled it quite well.

You gotta fill us in when they come back from commerical

Darn! they changed the subject......Barbara asked elizabeth to name three reason WHY Palin would be able to step in to be President and she came back with, uhhh, well, YOU name three reason why Obama is qualified to Be president. and Barbara comes back with 'noooo, we asked YOU to tell us" then you heard one of the other ladies say, "go to commerical" and Barbara looks at Elizabeth and Elizabeth starts to list three things and Joy starts making faces and Whoopi says "we are going to commerical" reminded me of the Rosie days. lol

WOW! Very interesting. They did that yesterday too actually when things looked like it was going to get to heated they just went to a commercial.

I mean they all have different opinions and its a shame that they all can't discuss in a tame manner. Still be themselves but its so crazy!

There are rumors that Elizabeth may be leaving the View (please oh please let them be true).

I am a political junkie - and love listening to the political debate - the back and forth;......... but Elizabeth thinks she's Rush Limbaugh and literally SHOUTS republican talking points trying to get her point across....... Its like she sees no gray - its just black or white.

Yes, I've been watching for months now. Elisabeth really gets on my nerves - she is so blindly republican, she can NEVER admit Bush has ever made a mistake. She was like a teenage groupie when McCain was on the show.

On the other hand, I love Whoopie - there is a woman with a brain in her head.

I haven't been watching much but did see it today. The problem is that when Elizabeth is on a roll with her talking points Bill Gedde just lets it go, but today she was not making any good points so they go to commercial and then change the subject. So it may be 3 Democrats to 1 Republican but the producer is also a Republican.

Elizabeth has been able to get by with spouting wrong info way more often then the others.

I agree. I dislike those who are so partisan that they obviously have no concept of being open to new ideas, or admitting that maybe, just maybe, they (or their candidate) can be wrong.

It is like those guys who go to football games all painted up their team colors. They will sit and scream “We’re Number One!” oblivious to reality.

Thanks for the heads up. I just turned the TV on and it was tuned to Ch 6, so I rewound. I avoid that show like the plague now. But that was "fun", in a painful kind of way. I can't stand any of them anymore.

Exactly. I can't stand people who feel the need to spew, rather than discuss, their political opinions. When Whoopi initially was a guest host, I thought she'd be a great "moderator", but she's constantly demanding that people be quiet so that SHE can speak. Elizabeth always thinks she's got to be the first to speak "and loudly", and Joy is just plain whiney. Ugh. Can't stand any of them.
