Well it's one heck of an act to follow, but it doesn't seem too bad. And I'm not a huge fan of Conan.

Its just a shame that CNBC over here see fit, like they did with Leno, to carve it to shreds. Monologue jokes are missing, as are the main titles and any sketches. It really irritates me.

And to make matters worse, CNBC have said they won't be picking up Leno's Primetime show.

I really like Leno as a person (he seems to do a lot of charity work, and seems very nice and down-to-earth) but I thought he did a lousy job as a host and comedian. I used to be a huge Conan fan about 5 or 6 years ago, mainly because he was so off-the-wall and wasn't afraid to poke fun at himself. I haven't seen his new show yet though.

I'm the same with Leno. Conan is no Leno as Leno is no Johnny.

MonorailMan: I agree, Jay is a very personable guy - it was very evident as he was signing off.
Have to slightly disagree with you on the host/comedian bit, but that's personal opinion.

I'm with you. I stopped watching after Johnny left. I think I've only watched Leno maybe once or twice and not the entire show even. Conan? I'm not a fan. Letterman? Never been a big fan either. Maybe I'm picky. I do like that one late night talk show hosted by the English guy that was the boss on the Drew Carey Show, but I can't think of his name.

Yes, and it's absolutely hysterical. He just makes fun of everyone and sometimes it is complete stream of consciousness. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!

LUV, LUV, LUV Craig Ferguson! He is SO funny! When Stewart Brand was here in the US, Craig was the ONLY Talk Show Host that could hold his own with that crazy man!
