Anyone watching the George Strait special on CBS?

Absolutely my favorite artist of all time! 50+ #1 hits. IMO, one of the top 5 country singers of all time.

I'm watching - just love him. George is such a great singer. While it's fun watching other stars sing his music, I wish it was George singing!

Some of them have been honoring past Artists of the Decade. Marty Robbins, Loretta Lynn, Alabama, & Garth Brooks.

George Strait is one of my all-time favorite singers in ANY genre...not just country.

The first time I was ever asked to dance by a boy in junior high was to a George Strait song...oh, the memories!

I LOVE George Strait. I was so pleased that the final song of the show was Old Troubodore. It is so fitting for him. Long live George's music and long live George, one of the true "gentlemen" of country music.

DH and I were there for the taping of the show! It was incredible! My DMIL is a huge fan and has been since the beginning. We bought them tickets for their 45th wedding anniversary

Loved Jamie Foxx's version of "You Look So Good In Love". I was hoping that maybe they would do a tribute CD off of this special but I haven't seen anything about it.
