The miracle of stairway B shown on monday was uplifting and very well done but the 9/11 millionaire widows programme last night was very sad, its such a shame that people can't get on with their lives even after all this time. I really feel that when any type of tragedy strikes money does seem to bring out the worse in people.

i watched the stairway b one and ive recorded last nights millionaire widows one.
i cant beleive its been 5 yrs

I know, Natalie, its still really shocking viewing, that footage of the planes crashing into the towers, really horrible :sad2:

I watched the one on sunday about the fire fighters really wanted to watch stairway b but unfortunately fell asleep and forgot about last nites but hopefully more 4 will repeat them.
They are all so brave.

That firefighter one was truly horrifying, just think, what an unhappy coincidence that they happened to be filming anyway... it really showed what an amazing job the rescue people did and what courage and bravery they showed. The footage showing the firemen who went into the building but never came out was so moving

Thought i had watched them all, looks like i didn't see mondays one though. :guilty:

unfortunately next mondays (anniversary) doc is one called 9/11 liars following people who actually claimed their loved one had been killed in the disaster. :sad2: some people..

i watched the back end of the millionaire widows....so so sad that all some people are bothered about is the estate of their 'loved' ones.

I also saw the trailer for the 9/11 liars, it looks disgraceful

I watched both and thought the one last night was shocking ..., it is such a shame money causing so much heartache in peoples lives

I watched that one too and it was a brilliant piece of filming, as it had followed the young man as he started work in the fire service the Summer before 9/11.

I still find the whole event quite distressing, so I can't imagine how anyone involved felt.

I have watched the firefighters with the 2 brothers filming.

It was nice to see his brother was behind him when he thought the worse.

Watched then stairway b, that was a miracle.

Missed the millionaire one.

I watched the Stairway B programme, but was out for the others. There is another one on tonight, drama/documentary with re-enactments of what happened I think.....they have included actual calls from the buildings which I think I will find too upsetting :guilty:

Ive seen all three, I thought the millionaire one last night was so sad, I felt so sorry for the partners of the men who died whose family then tried to stop them receiving any money!

We've Sky-Plussed the first one, but not watched it yet. Didn't know about the follow-ups! :guilty:

Watching tonights. Still find it difficult to imagine what it was like for everyone in Twin Towers :confused3

I am also watching tonights programme. It is verydifficult to watch and so difficult to comprehend. If it were a film, I would say how far fetched, but it was real life. It's amazin - those people were all so brave.

Sara. :)

I found tonight's programme on BBC deeply moving - what came shining through, amongst the deepest inhumanity that was carried out on that dreadful dreadful day, is the incredible humanity of people who saved others and lost their own lives, or who lived and did so having saved another along with them.

I thought it must have been very hard for the people that decided to save themselves rather than other people, it was a desperate situation and I'm sure there are a lot of people for whom the survival instinct would over take to the point of ignoring others in peril.
