Anyone Watching "Shameless"

Just discovered this show this past weekend since I watched everything out there it seems. I'm LOVING this show! Looked for a thread on it but couldn't find it.

Anyone else really enjoying this?

Agree, love the cast. I just have not sat down and watched it.

Right now I am pretty shaky with all my shows. I have been busy with other stuff.

Me Me Me!!! Shameless is a great show! The season finale broke my heart in so many ways. Lip, Fiona,'GET ON THE TRAIN FIONA!!!", Karen, Steve, Liam and what happens when Karen's mom finds out? I love Joan Kusack's character there, love it! 13 steps, lol! Do you think Debbie is good or bad? The mouth kissing creeped me out.

Fantastic show. I cannot believe 12 episodes went by so fast. I hope since we have to wait until next year for more we will get more than 12 next time.

The cast is absolutely wonderful. Personal favs are Sheila, Debbie & Lip, but the rest of the cast is absolutely amazing too. It was not a good jolt on Sunday to realize it was the finale.

One thing I couldn't understand was why Steve was waiting at Midway, supposedly for Fiona, when he distinctly told her to meet him at the terminal at O'Hare?

Does anyone remember the actor Robert Mitchum? The guy who plays Phillip or Lip, looks so much like him. Same sleepy eyes, chin, nose.

What did Steve say about Fiona not having a passport?

Joan Cusack is great in this show. I remember how good she was in the movie "Working Girl".

Oh I love this show. I agree, those were 12 very fast episodes.

Steve told Fiona they could take care of the passport issue in Miami.

I am in love with Lip.

I've only made it through Episode 10 I think so I can't comment.

I'm behind but I was loving the episode where the neighbors took in the foster child and she ended up being from one of the polygamist cults. That was just cracking me up.

I'm glad Fiona did what she did for Debbie's sake. Maybe Debbie will introduce Fiona to Jimmy's mom. Jimmy's mom is one character I'd like to see more of. She's interesting.

Someone said Karen 'faked' it? What do you mean 'faked' it? I think everything she did was for real. What about her dad and his final act in the finale? ewwww. For a while, I thought he was going for Frank.

I hope Karen faked her DaddyzGirl video w/ camera angles. Obviously the show pushes the envelope, but I don't want that for Karen, Lip, Frank or Sheila. Lip really amazed me with his capacity for dealing with the situation, with Karen & Frank both.

Monica is mom, Bob is her partner. I couldn't stand how Bob cared nothing for the kids. She wanted them to take Liam with them, but I couldn't see that she really cared for him either -- especially when the little one that plays Liam is absolutely irresistible.

No, John, it's not 'real', it's total entertainment but somehow they make it pretty gritty and real, like HBO. Same feeling I get from Weeds and Nurse Jackie. Not a typical family and definitely a train wreck. I said what Karen did seemed real as it related to the rest of the characters. If you haven't watched the show, you couldn't know enough about this topic to respond. Karen's action were heinous and violent. Someone here said they thought she'd faked it. I don't think she did. If you want, watch the whole season and come back when you understand what we're talking about. I don't want to spoil it and I'm not sure I could describe it without violating rules here.

It WAS painful. Imagine being Lip and watching that. the last scene between Karen and Lip was odd. They seemed to be ok with each other even though Lip had clearly seen his dad yelling, "No, no, no!" in the beginning. Loved Lip's response to his father's apology and really loved Frank just standing there, infact walking back into it and taking it. hilarious! Yes, our introduction to Karen was crazy. I have a girlfriend named Karen Jackson and I called her to aprise her of her namesakes antics...we laughed til we cried. I know, I'm bad.
