Anyone watching Michael Jackson's memorial?

Just horrified they made those kids go up there, especially after sitting through such a long memorial. I was an adult when my father died, and his funeral was one of the hardest things I've ever had to get through.

Now I see why he was the way he was.

It looked to me like Paris wanted to speak. No one -made- them love their father and want to tribute and say goodbye to him.

As Paris went off the stage, someone (an aunt I think) was talking to Prince and he was shaking his head...I wonder if they were asking him if he wanted to speak.

Paris really got me, such a beautiful young girl.

And seriously people w/ the gum....come on he is a kid. I really don't agree that Joe, being an adult, is also chewing gum. But people they are grieving I am almost 100% sure they aren't think "wow, is chewing gum going to make me look "low class!"

That has to be one of the most beautiful, tasteful memorial services I have ever seen.. The Jackson family did a tremendous job and managed to send Michael off without a "circus" atmosphere.. I'm sure he's smiling down right now - with that huge, "light-up-a-room" smile of his..

R.I.P. Michael.. May you find the peace and happiness now that you couldn't find here on earth.. Your tortured soul has finally been set free..
