At this point I think any chance the kids might have had at staying "hidden" is gone anyway. Thier photos have been all over. I read that he mainly kept them hidden so they wouldn't be recognized when out with the nanny so they could be "normal".

And I had also heard that his son might have been planning to appear onstage with him in the concert. I think as long as his kids get to have a childhood with people that love him that is what Michael wanted.

The service has been beautiful and touching--much more so than I thought it would be.

If a child who recently lost the only parent he has forgets his manners and chews gum with his mouth open at a the memorial service I honestly do not think it is a big deal. Poor kid.

I can't speak for anyone else, but many people chew gum to relieve stress. It's one of the things that I do before I take a test when I'm anxious. He is just a kid who lost his father. Give him a break.
