Anyone watching Michael Jackson's memorial?

I think it is sad that some people only want to believe the worst. How can you listen to tabloids and quote them like they are gospel? I'd like to know how anyone can say he spent "X" amount of money on drugs? How the heck do you know?

I think he was a brilliant, eccentric man. Actually, more of a child than a man. I will never believe he was a pedophile - I don't think sexuality was a part of his life.

I hope he can rest in peace.

I have watched so many tributes to MJ. I am a product of the 80's and spring break in '83 and '84 was all about MJ. I love the MJ of the "Thriller" era.

The one thing that surprised me about the memorial service was that Macauley Culkin didn't attend or speak. Was there a falling out that I don't remember? I am aware of the past allegations but I am also aware that Mack spoke for MJ's defense at the 2004 trial. Does anyone know what, if anything, happened?

I just noticed after watching the Paris interview on the internet for the fifth time, that his youngest son "Blanket" was crying as well.


(Plus both of his sons have a chewing gum addiction, because they were chomping away all night )

Maybe it keeps them calm, that's what I use it for, stress reliever...

I wonder why that arshole Corey Feldman went, when he betrayed Michael.

Why believe MJ and not Corey Feldman? I too was surprised that he was there. But I'm curious why you would see his testimony only as a betrayal and not as his version of events that took place (when none of the rest of us was there)?

I actually talked to my parents after I posted this, and they said that he actually backed MJ up, so I am confused..
I always thought that was against Michael...

And go ahead and believe what you want about him -- others will argue with you. I would hope that you're right, but I still think it's impossible to know anyone that well if you don't actually know them.
