I've Sky+ this.

Anyone else going to watch it?

Isn't it 'The trouble with Size 0' Florence :confused3 - I thought it was more of a why not to do it rather than a how to do it type programme :rotfl:

Either way, I will probably watch it.

Yes, I will be watching :thumbsup2

Yes, I'll probably watch it, it sounds good and it will be interesting to see how tiny, size 8 Louise copes with the regime - though I would probably be more interested if they showed me How to be a Size 12 :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

No because you know what it is going to say. Being size zero is unhealthy, restricting food like that harms your body and we all know curves are better!

I watched the one last night on BBC3. The reporter was a size 12 and had 3 months to get to size 4 which is the US size 0.

She went on a diet of 500 cals and a heavy exercise regime. In the end she only lost 17 pounds. I was quite suprised as I thought 500 cals would have a greater effect. I lost this just doing Slimming world where you can eat loads & loads???

The reporter who went on the diet was moody/tired and depressed and became obssessed with food and calories etc and said she would never diet again.

Unfortunately its a scientific fact that once you go on a diet and stop you will gain the weight + 10% so all diets will ever do in the long run is gain you weight.

Healthy eating for life is the only way so it would be intersting to see what
happens to her in say 6 months.

I think it will be very interesting. Not sure if it will put anyone off if they want to be that size though:confused3

I'll definitely be watching. I think I need some incentive to lose a bit of weight !!

But cutting to 800 calories a day is a bit much.

Me Too Mands, would be far more realistic :lmao:

What I don't understand is why on earth anyone would want to do that? (apart from the publicity - I mean she's not had a pic in the paper since last years Ascot)

Its also in direct contrast to the 'Biggest boy in the world' programme by Bodyshock thats being shown next week

She's trying to get Morgan Spurlock style attention for this but is another wannabe. She's already following all the stereotypes of the people she's supposed to be reporting against, i.e. Posh Beckham it would be more interesting to have someone like Germaine Greer on it whos so adamant that she likes herself the way she is.

I'm really surprised that in 3 months the reporter that cut down to 500 cal per day only lost 17 pounds, I mean that is much less than you could probably lose on a normal diet in 3 months. I lost that on the GI diet in 2 months. I'd never want to be a size 0, but a size 12 would suffice:)

I thinks she is trying to show how much damage you can do to your body and shows how little you have to eat to maintain the size 0. In a magazine interview I read she said it was really hard and she was really ill as she likes her food. She has since put all the weight back on and is happier.

It must be horrible for the likes of Victoria Beckham surviving on next to nothing. I think everyone would love to see her put on a bit of weight. My DD is only 7 and all too aware what is fat and what is thin :confused3 I cant wait for the teenage years:crazy2:

I'm going to Sky+ it. I'm not surprised it's hard - you're body must think you're starving and do all it can to resist the weightloss. IMO the celebs who seemingly drop so much weight must use drugs and other methods us mere mortals can't possibly imagine...

Maybe that's why she always looks so flippin' miserable - smile, Victoria, you're on the cover of Grazia - again!!!! :rolleyes2

2 words = COLONIC IRRIGATION :scared: :scared: :scared:

TBH I don't think colonic irrigation's hardcore enough - I'd actually like to try that myself. Friend of mine dated a journalist in LA and she's heard tales of celebs checking into a private hospital for a couple of weeks of mild sedation and a glucose drip - now that's gotta help the weightloss... :crazy2:
