Anyone watch The Tudors...

I watched Season 1 and 2 through Netflix but I'm not sure if I can wait. Might have to get Showtime!

I am curious as to WHAT episode will air this Sunday night.

Like I said I saw the FINALE last week (Sun May 17th). As a matter of fact the end went right to a red screen with no coming previews!!!!

This is still confusing if you all are getting more episodes than I am in SoCal. :confused3

All the ads on showtime say this week, Sun May 24th, will be the finale. Some people have watched the next week's episode on Showtime on Demand. Did you see it on that?

This season went by all too fast. I have decided that after the finale tomorrow, I am cancelling showtime. Tudors is the only thing I watch on there.

Doesn't everyone watch Tudors on Showtime on Demand?

Yes, I have watched all 3 seasons of Tudors on Showtime. It was ON the Showtime website that states THIS week is the FINALE but I already saw the finale LAST Sunday night.

I am actually going to cancel Showtime now that I have seen my Tudors. Saving a little $$$ when I do not ever watch it for anything else. That is actually the ONLY time I subscribe to Showtime = TUDORS!!

I don't get Showtime on demand. Just regular Showtime, so I can't watch the next episode early.

I'm cancelling my subscription too after the finale. I'll re-subscribe when season 4 starts.

So you mean some people can get SHOWTIME on their tv but ON DEMAND is extra?? :confused3 I thought ON DEMAND just automatically came with SHOWTIME!!! But we indeed saw the finale last weekend. :happytv:

Things do not go well for Cromwell and I suggest if any of you watching the finale on Sunday PLEASE do not have any children around...it is very intense...well actually the whole episode is intense as Henry meets his new lover....:rolleyes1 So keep the kiddos away for that hour.

I love the Tudors! I think season 2 was the best so far. I think Henry Cavill is the best looking male on the show. So much killing in the name of religon. I hate to see season 3 end.

I agree that Henry Cavill is now the best looking man on that show (hate JRM's slicked back hair) but I am so disappointed to see Season 3 end. I felt like it got off to a slow start and is only now gathering the same momentum the first two seasons had, only to be cut short until next year again. At least things start going bad for Cromwell, an event I've been waiting for with eagerness.

I watched the first season on DVD after my friend, AUdisfan, recommended it. I got Showtime thinking that I'd find movies or something else to watch along with Tudors but I never find anything that interests me.

We do not have On Demand because it requires two incoming connection lines and we only have one. We keep talking about getting someone in to wire the place for that second line but so far, it's only talk.

So what did everyone think of the finale? :happytv:

Cromwell...:scared1: I could NOT watch those scenes at all. :scared:

I figured it out.... SHOWTIME ON DEMAND showed all the episodes sooner than regular SHOWTIME hence me seeing the finale LAST week. :goodvibes

I will say I absolutely LOVE The Tudors but I really LOVED Season 2 better than Season 3!! ::yes::

I *loved* the finale! I was over excited for Cromwell to get his due. I went around all day Sunday saying "chop chop" in preparation for Cromwell's execution. I didn't know it would be "chop chop chop chop (hand the axe to someone else) chop"!!! :scared1:

Karma's a nasty little bugger, isn't it????????????? popcorn::popcorn::

Now, if I remember my English History correctly...divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived....little miss Katherine Howard is next in line for the chopping block!

Yes, I laugh at the "liberties" they take with facts in this series, but it still draws me in. If you let go of history and just enjoy it as work of historical fiction, it's pretty darned entertaining! ;)

I think you are 100% right.

I wonder if Jane had not died in childbirth; she and Henry might have been married for a very long time....:confused3 He loved her so much and she was such a wonderful queen. AND the mother of Henry's only son.

I loved seeing Cromwell lose his head (finally).

The only thing I'm bothered by is how fast we are going through Henry's wives. I wish they would drag this out longer.

I also think the actress playing Anne of Cleves is more attractive than the actress playing Katherine Howard.

That was the finale? Bummer!

Like others, I watch them a week early, so I saw the finale last week. I've been checking On Demand for Episode 9, because it seemed to be rolling that way. Bummer!

How many further seasons have been confirmed? I wonder if they will continue on into the Tudor dynasty with Edward , Mary and Elizabeth....I sure hope so! With all the attention paid to Mary as a side story this season, it looks like they're keeping that option open.

They have made JRM look older and injury-ridden. Part of Henry's transformation into repulsion includes his increasing tyrannical acts and short temper. They may not be ballooning out his gut, but his other ugliness is definitely coming out. George Boleyn's widow should be losing her head with Katherine Howard, which is why I suspect she was 'around' in Season 2.

I haven't been able to see the last 2 episodes. I am goin gto search the web tonight and see if I can find them, they aren't posted on the Watchthetodors site.

I know they are being picked up for the 4th and supposedly final season and will start shooting in the next month or so, but that is all I have read.

I am so gald to hear that Cromwell is getting his dues. I like the actor, but the character needs to go.

Lady Richmond has been in this season too.

I am so bummed to just now have found this thread. I love the Tudors!!

If you like the Tudors, check out the HBO series Rome on dvd, it was amazing... the best tv series of my lifetime.

OMG, I just watced the last 2 episodes, glad to finally see Cromwell get his dues, but OMG.

I really liked Anne and I am glad he didn't behead her; Joss Stone did a great job portraying her. That Catherine Howard sure is an airhead, can you say ditz :rotfl:

Looking forward to next season :lovestruc
