Anyone watch Jimmy Buffett coast concert?

I'm going to Buffett Aug 9 I rented a limo for 10 last year & this year we have a Winnebago a friend is letting us use. I just have to get a driver this year.

I am going August 15th! That will be the 3rd one, this summer - we went to Indy, Alpine Valley, WI and August will be Chicago. We're tossing around October 23rd in Vegas.

I DVR'd the concert. Will probably watch it here, in a few minutes. Thanks for reminding me. I forgot I recorded it.

We got to see him at Lulu's on June 30. He performed under the name Freddy and the Fishsticks. For those who don't know Lulu's is Jimmy's sisters' restaurant. The benefit concert was supposed to originally be on July 1 but due to Alex out in the gulf causing the tides to come in too far, they postponed it.

Yes where the concert occured, Gulf Shores, the beach is open but the water is not. We spent a whole week there (June 26 - July 3) and everyday was double red flag. The oil is washing up on the beach all day, and then at night the cleaners are bussed in to clean up.

We still had a great time because there are so many other things to do.

I keep breaking out in hives in the evening (going to the doctor today) and went to the bedroom to lay down and pout somewhat when I came across this concert last night.

I was so excited, as I love Jimmy Buffett! I did miss the first half hour though. Glad to know it is reshowing on Wednesday - I will need to set the DVR.

I loved listening to him sing "Changes in Latitudes" and "Fins" - I love those songs! And "Margaritaville" is a song that my son's rhythm band at school plays and is a classic IMO.


I thought it was a great concert (from what I saw) and I want one of those shirts he was wearing!
