Anyone watch "Dr. G - Medical Examiner"?

I like the show - it's the kind of thing that interests me - but her voice drives me crazy!!! I don't know what it is about it - maybe too squeaky or something - but I wish they could do a "voice over".. LOL..

Where have I been? Oprah is taking over Discover Health next year? Noooooo!!! If she changes the sort of shows that they televise, I'll scream!

Yep, it becomes the Oprah Winfrey Network on January 1, 2011. I think the programming is going to be a lot different. But I remember hearing somewhere about the possibility of Dr. G moving to TLC.

Discovery channel is one of our favorites, so hope it doesnt' change. I find Dr G's show very interesting. Guess I'm fan enough where her voice doesn't bother me . Now a couple of the female news anchors is another story.

Oh my goodness, I don't watch a lot of t.v. but I LOVE Dr. G.! I am very fascinated by her methodology. I thought I was the only one who could love this show. I don't get to watch it all the time but if I can catch it I love to watch it.

As I said, I love the show (also "Medical Mysteries"; "Trauma In The ER"; etc.), but there's just something about her voice..

I had a similar problem when I was in grade school with a reading teacher.. In the years prior to landing in her class, I never had a grade lower than 100.. I've always loved to read, so that's not surprising..

Then I ended up with this particular teacher and her voice bothered me so bad, I would be sitting there in class literally breaking my pencils in half.. When my first report card came and my grade was 74 , my parents knew there had to be a serious problem.. They asked me what it was, I told them, they managed to get me into a different reading class, and my grades went right back up to 100..

Hard to explain the problem with the sound of a voice that bothers you.. Think "fingernails scraping a blackboard" - or something like that.. That's how I feel when I hear certain voices (although far and few between now)..

Anyhow - it's a great show.. Very, very interesting..

I love this show, it would be nice if it was more realistic then reenacted. Wasn't there a show on a few years ago about autopsy's that was realistic? I also didn't know Oprah was taking over the channel. I really hope it doesn't change to much.
