I have never seen so many shallow, conceited, egotistical guys in my life as the new contenders. I hope every one of them gets the boot ASAP. At this point, I don't care who wins as long as it isn't one of the new guys.

I watched the last half hour, and must say that I really liked Sean. He seems like a really nice, genuine man. And I agree, the new guys made some very rude comments--I wonder if they were told to be a little nasty for the show's sake?

I did watch most of it last night. I think that maybe they were supposed to act and sound all macho!

Unfortunately, I think the "average" guys are in trouble........did you see her face light up more and more as each of the "hard-bodies" walked in. She had to have known when she got the "note" what was happening..........she had such an obvious smirk on her face. I never saw the show before last night, but I know they did this on the last run of this show..........very unfair and fake.......

Yeh they were all major jerks! I kept saying one of them has got to nice but nope, I could'nt believe it. I hope that she gets to see that side of them, maybe through a hidden camera or something.

I did.....but I don't know how much longer I will watch. It was just too obvious that she was too happy to see the new guys. I felt so bad for the original guys.....they looked so depressed. I do hope that she can see through the "hunks" and see what big jerks they are, like palmtreegirl said, like through hidden cameras or something.

Seemed way to "directed" to me...

Conflict is the most important part of any story, without it we have no reason to come back to see the outcome. Directors and producers know that. If they brought on a bunch of NICE good looking guys.... where would the conflict be???

Okay, I know I analyze it too much, been in the business tooo long!

The Nerds vs the Hunks conflict is much a part of everyone's teenage life and I think most people can relate to it. It adds a good edge to the show. I doubt if all of those guys are real jerks, but they were obviously TOLD to be, not to mention makes SURE they were greased up and posed on the yacht...

The smirk seemed automated, too. She should've been more amazed than just grinning...and she's not that good an actress to pull off the note reading thing. I don't think she felt anything for the "average" guys, she seemed to be treating them like most people treat people they inwardly feel sorry for, not with true caring.

I dunno, some of these so called "reality" shows are losing the "real" part TOO fast.

Everytime the new contendors opened their mouth, I disliked them more. During the interviews on the boat they kept saying that the average Joe's think they have the whole thing wrapped up and they think this and they think that, of course thats what they think, they didn't know anything about the air heads landing on the island. They know nothing about the average Joe's but yet they come to the show with an attitude. I don't like them!

I wasn't going to get "roped" into this show but I am!!

Anyway, I do think the hunks were told to "macho it up" a bit. I would find it hard to believe ALL of them are 100% JERKS!

I don't like Fredo though. He seems kind of like a jerk too.

I feel so bad for Sean (the big guy) he seems really nice & "real", I have a feeling he is going to get the boot next time around :(
HE really is too good for HER!!!! :p

Dan....LOL!

I missed it last night for the first time, for some reason I thought it came on tonight....

I found out the other day that my sister went to high school with the bachlorette. She said she watched show one just to see her reaction to "the surprise" and wasn't surprised at all by it. I haven't heard what she thought of last night. Sis is betting the girls goes with one of the "hunks."

I also felt so bad for the Average Joe's. Especially Tony, when he looked over and saw how happy she was. The hunks were very conceited and mean. I hope she doesn't turn out to be as shallow as the new guys.

After watching last night, I thought the show was really starting to get mean. The "average joes" looked so devestated when the "hunks" came in and then the promos for next week just about broke my heart when I saw poor Sean trying to climb up the rope.

Also, I think it was one of the "hunks" who is shown crying next week saying he can't do this anymore. I'm thinking he's referring to being mean to the "average Joes", but who knows.

It seems pretty obvious to me that they were. It wasn't so bad on the first show. The "hunky" guys were also pretty decent. They are really hamming it up this time around.

It's really getting annoying with all the assumptions they're making... they say it's "charisma vs. looks." Sorry, but most of the ugly guys had NO charisma. Even if they were drop-dead gorgeous, I would have booted some of them. And who's to say that the good-looking guys can't be good people as well? It's starting to get ridiculous. You know, the jerkiest guy on the first show was one of the "average joes." That group was so much more interesting.

Also love how all the fat guys leave and say, "as far as I'm concerned, it's all about the weight; she's shallow." Um, ok. Sounds like an issue, and she obviously made the right choice by booting you if you think the only reason someone might not like you is because of your looks.

I'm rooting for the bald "average joe" so far.
