Anyone want to share their Disney budget?

We're keeping it under $6K Cdn funds. The exchange sucks right now, which doesn't help, but we paid for our airfare when it was only $1.02, so that helped a ton!

Disney, including room, dining plan and park tickets for four of us (three @ adult prices- dd is 10, and one child) was about $3400 (don't have it right in front of me)....that's at Caribbean Beach, Pirate Room, 8 days.

Airfare was $1500 for 5 of us (mom is going too, but has her own room etc once there).

The remainder is our spending/mad money. It will probably end up being about $600 U.S.

I decorated a gallon jar last May, and we've been dumping in our small change....I got enough out of it so far to make all my tip envelopes (dining and mousekeeping) ahead of time, plus there's about $120 U.S. left over...it's going to be be for things we wouldn't spend money on otherwise...such as the "pick a pearl" thing in Japan, which I only just found out about.:confused3

eta that both my dds have their own spending money....they saved their winnings from the Fall fair last fall....they can spend that on whatever they like- no limits. The only rule I made was that during the week, they have to write down whatever they see that they think they'd like, where it was, and how much it cost, then on Friday we'll go back and buy what they decide they REALLY want from the list.
That way they don't spend it all the first day, then regret it when they see other things through the week.

We (2 adults and 4 1/2 girl) are getting in with the military deal so we have paid cash for our tickets. Our room for 5 days is paid but we ended up staying another 2 days so that will cost us $234.00. We are doing two character breakfasts so I budgeted about $250 for that. Our hotel froom for 5 days as a full kitchen so we can make some meals there. We are taking about another $1,500 for anything else since this is our first trip.

mousekeepers do not earn 12.00 plus per hour.....they earned 7.35 two years ago when I lived there....................

Here is mine. Just hubby and I. This is our Anniversary trip. Staying at CBR with free dinning. 1535.00, that is for 7 nights. King bed. We qualify for the military tickets so we only need to buy the extra companion ticket. We had to buy 1 day tickets for the free dinning, so we will use one of them to get the military ticket. So that will be 50.00. (99-75)
Airfare 300.00 RT from MSP (Used some frequent flyer miles)
LaNuba tickets----170.00
Tips and extra food-----200.00
Christmas store------$200.00 Always buy the grand kids a new Disney ornament every year. Have to ship them home or they won't be in one piece.
Segway tour---$200.00
Car rental and gas---$300.00
Spendiing money----$500.00
We will go to the store and get some water and breakfast food.Wine and beer.
Grand total about 3400.00
Now I already have the trip part payed. I am buying the LaNuba tickets on Monday. I already have 350.00 in gift cards. So by the time we leave, I will have most of it paid for..

Outlet shopping for my new Coach bag = $250.00 yes, I've worked that into the budget as well.;)

Misc (extra snacks and what not) = $50.00

:rotfl: So something I would do. ONLy I got mine before we left.:thumbsup2

We paid $4400 for our DDP and a 2BR villa at OKW. Taking 4 kids (ages 11-5) and my dad too....
Budgeting 500 for tickets because of the military deal.
Taking 2000 to spend. We will be there from April 15-April 23rd. Splurged on the 2BR villa instead of a Family Suite or Cabin. We'll see if it is worth it.

Another VA DISer here!
I am trying to work out a budget.... we'll see. We're going in July, and we are not telling the girls until Easter... I am hoping to con DD into helping with housework for Disney Dollars!:rotfl: They have 15 each that I got for their Easter Baskets to get them started.... We're on DXDP so I only need to save for tips... Can we say "Yard Sale". Driving, so guessing 150 for gas money, hopefully going to stay in WDW all day Sat, drive some, stop somewhere, and finish up on Sun. am. I've got the girls' lanyards, autograph books, Mickey plushes, and some pins already, going to give them as a "welcome" when we get there.

No specific numbers for ya, just thinking in print.
